Hobart Town (by peacay)
(as pointed out by Hobart reader, Jarred McGinnis)
From Roxane Gay:
The oven at the grocery store is a Hobart oven. Also, they updated their deli scale. This one is digital. The deli workers did not understand why I was reaching over the counter to take a picture of the oven. I didn’t try to explain. They just wouldn’t understand.
Attached are a couple pictures of the electrical power box that powers each aircraft jetway (“jetbridge” in American Airlines speak) at Chicago O’Hare’s Int’l Airport. The first picture gives it context, and the second picture is a close up of the actual Hobart box.
The plane is an American Airlines MD80 (what I fly). Hobart is the brand of electrical junction box for the Jetbridge external power used by aircraft while parked at the gate.
