This could be kind of like a poetic portlandia! Let’s just hope that guy from twin peaks doesn’t show up and drag down the show. poetsorg: My name is Zachary Schomburg. Today I’m going to take advantage of my time to put the local Portland poetry scene on the national map for a day. I am going to film myself reading one short poem of a different Portland-based poet on the hour, every hour, from 6am (PST) until midnight, and then post it to this Tumblr right then, throughout the day. I’m going to bike around the whole day and read all over town, in front of different Portlandy places, and take the Tumblr reader through my day in Portland. I’d love it if you’d follow along. See where I go, and listen to some poems all day. Ok? Alright.
